Big mouths

Favourite BITCHES gigs recently have been playing in a basement in Stoke Newington, where Blake had to sit down on a chair and everyone else sat on the floor. I felt like I should have been reading stories instead of drumming.

Last week, we played an Upset the Rhythm gig with Foot Village and Bloody Knees, which was incredibly awesome.

In-between these shows, I have played a couple of other great London shows with BITCHES and a show in Norwich with A Scholar and A Physician, (yay, we are back and hopefully playing more shows soon.) Alongside spending time with Foot Village whenever they are in London :D and being at work 6 days a week >:(

EXCITED.

YOU BET! We are in the NME this week.

Whilst I am sleeping tonight, Foot Village are flying to London. I am terribly excited, they're arriving tomorrow and their European tour kicks off this week. Here is a list of all their shows.

Now all I need to make this the best week ever is to get that job I had an interview for...

Pretty, pretty, pretty good.

Today, I ate the BEST SANDWICH EVER. Then, BITCHES played a gig in a tiny basement in Stoke Newington w/ Guess What and oh yeah, right now I am listening to looooads of Blink-182. YES YES YES GOOD DAY.

Audioscope Success!

BITCHES played at Audioscope on Saturday (which raised £1,700 for Shelter!). We had a great lunch with Micaela w/ lots of wine before we played spread out across half of the venue, playing to our tiny but enthusiastic crowd of people. (Unfortunately, most of our friends missed us because our set was 15 minutes earlier, and our set is only 20 minutes long.)

Before the gig, Blake sent out a call on Facebook for a spare guitar amp and one of his "friends" commented on his status offering an amp, we replied to this thanking them, trying to organise a pick up, and whilst awaiting a reply, to then notice this guy had hilariously deleted his original comment, thus I assume, retracting his offer. WTF? Internet makes people so weird.
(Gus from Dial F for Frankenstein saved us).

Blake also posed the ultimate question that day: "Can you trade in video games when you are drunk?" - still not entirely sure the answer to that.

Give a second life to your jeans.

Give you old jeans to the Volcom London Store (where I work).
Volcom give them to the Whitechapel Mission.
In return you get up to 25% off new jeans.
(Or just donate your unwanted jeans anyway.)
Pretty good.

Then hang out w/ me.
